In Katte mode, play begins without choosing a trump suit and when a player is not able to follow the suit, the card they choose becomes the trump of the deal.

Deal and Play

The dealer is chosen by dealing a random card and the one with the highest card deals first. The dealer deals all the cards, one at a time, face down, so that each player has 13 cards. The player to the dealer's left leads the first trick, and the winner of each trick leads the next. All players must play the same suit card if they have one. If not, a card of the trump suit can be played. The main objective is to collect the maximum number of Medi (Dehla).
