Controls and Interactions

The controls of Hard Time are reminiscent of other Mdickie games. On the left side of the screen, you have a virtual d-pad for movement, while action buttons are located on the right. This familiar control scheme allows for seamless interaction with the game world. Just like in most open-world games, your actions are determined by the items in your hands or nearby. You can punch, pick up items, talk to other characters, and engage in a variety of activities. For instance, holding a hamburger enables you to eat it, while having a gun allows you to fire it.

Open Premise and Consequences

Hard Time presents an entirely open premise. Your prisoner starts with a relatively short sentence, but your behavior within the prison can lead to additional days being added to your sentence. If you attack a guard, you will be sent back to trial, and there is a high likelihood of receiving more time.
